Kristin Flukey Fritsch joins Kimbell & Associates as Senior Director, Government Affairs. Kristin has over a decade of experience navigating the constantly evolving political and policy landscape and has built strong relationships on Capitol Hill, in the Executive Branch, and across the aisle, making her well-positioned to advise companies seeking to engage with key players in Washington, D.C.

Kimbell & Associates was founded in 1998 and currently represents over 86 clients in the life sciences space. The firm’s expertise focuses on the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. federal government and specializes in providing strategic solutions to a select group of health care sector clients seeking creation, modification, or proper implementation of public law.

“Kristin brings exactly the kind of policy depth and bipartisan credibility our clients need in today’s increasingly complex health policy environment,” said Jeffrey Kimbell, founder of the firm. “Her experience at the center of some of the most consequential public health and legislative efforts in Washington will strengthen our ability to help clients anticipate change, shape outcomes, and engage effectively across both the legislative and executive branches.”

“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at K&A during a critical and dynamic time for health policy,” Fritsch said. “The current landscape in Washington presents an opportunity for companies to engage with both the legislative and executive branches in a nuanced way to advance policy solutions.”

Fritsch previously worked for the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Health where she handled policy initiatives and matters involving the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Prior to her work on the Energy and Commerce Committee, Kristin served in the personal office of Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, leading her health care and tax work. Earlier in her career, she held a government relations role in the private sector.

Kristin received her B.A. from the Catholic University of America and lives in Maryland with her husband and daughter.
