Lydia Taber is an Associate of Health and Reimbursement Policy at Kimbell & Associates, where she supports clients on various federal health care policy and reimbursement matters. In her role, she monitors and evaluates federal agency activity, including rulemaking and guidance, with a particular focus on Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement. Lydia translates emerging legislative and regulatory changes into timely insights to support client priorities.
Prior to her current role, Lydia served as a Health and Reimbursement Policy Intern at K&A, where she supported the team by conducting research, monitoring policy developments, drafting policy summaries, and contributing to client deliverables. Previously, Lydia interned with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services on their Senior Strategy Team, focusing on the integration of behavioral health and substance use disorder interventions, gaining experience in state-level procedure.
Lydia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies and Psychology.
Originally from Massachusetts, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting museums and art exhibitions, reading, and running outdoors.
