David Perez is Manager of Government Affairs at Kimbell & Associates, where he supports clients on federal healthcare policy, legislative strategy, and government affairs initiatives. His work focuses on health technology and artificial intelligence, medical devices, and pharmaceutical policy, and includes monitoring and analyzing policy developments, supporting engagement with Congress and federal agencies, and advancing client priorities across a range of healthcare issues.
Prior to joining K&A in 2024, David spent more than two years at DocsInk, a healthcare technology company serving hospitals and health systems, where he focused on business development and worked with healthcare organizations across the country. Earlier in his career, David worked with the Melanoma Research Foundation, supporting patient advocacy efforts and the organization’s annual Capitol Hill advocacy activities. He also held roles with Wilmington Health and the Medical University of South Carolina.
David holds a Master of Public Health in Health Services Policy and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health with a minor in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Outside of the office, David enjoys spending time with friends and family, surfing, snowboarding, and traveling. He also has a Goldendoodle that keeps him active and entertained.
