John R. Ray
John R. Ray is a Vice President of Government Affairs at Kimbell & Associates. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, John worked as a federal lobbyist for the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) beginning 2013, representing over 60,000 occupational therapists and focused on Medicare provider issues. He also managed strategy and fundraising for AOTA’s Political Action Committee (PAC), with receipts of over $200,000 per cycle.
John previously worked for Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, managing an issue portfolio including healthcare and other issues. He has worked on a number of legislative initiatives, including Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Claim Your Health Data Coalition.
John has also worked on successful federal and state election campaigns in Pennsylvania. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy from American University.
