John R. Feore

John Feore is a Senior Director of Health & Reimbursement Policy. In his role, Mr. Feore provides strategic advice on health policy and reimbursement matters and representing clients before the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other key stakeholders. He advises biopharmaceutical companies and trade associations on health policy matters relating to federal healthcare programs, such as Medicare Parts B and D, 340B, and Medicaid.
Through his role at Kimbell & Associates, Mr. Feore serves as the Director of Health Policy and Advocacy for the Institute for Gene Therapies (IGT), a non-profit advocacy organization launched in 2020 to help address coverage, access, and reimbursement challenges surrounding gene therapies.
Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Mr. Feore was an Associate Principal in Avalere’s Center for Healthcare Transformation. During his time at Avalere, Mr. Feore focused on public policy issues related to prescription drug coverage and reimbursement and the value-based transformation of the US health care system. He worked closely with life sciences companies, providers, suppliers, and trade associations on issues related to Medicare and Medicaid, federal health policy, and drug pricing and reimbursement among others.
Mr. Feore previously was a Senior Managing Associate at Dentons US LLP, where he counseled clients on the impact of federal health policy, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicare Modernization Act (MMA).
Mr. Feore has a Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College. He lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and two sons.
