Tara Toksu
Tara Toksu is an Associate of Policy & Operations at Kimbell & Associates. She holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Florida State University.
Prior to joining as an Associate in 2025, Tara served as a Health & Reimbursement Policy Intern at the firm. In this role, Tara supported the policy team by researching Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement policies, drafting policy briefs, and tracking legislative and regulatory developments. Her graduate thesis focused on strategies to reduce type 2 diabetes among obese Medicaid beneficiaries in Kentucky, where she recommended piloting the National Diabetes Prevention Program through a Section 1115 waiver.
Originally from Florida, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the restaurant scene in DC, exercising, cooking, and reading.
