Kristin Flukey Fritsch
Kristin Flukey Fritsch joins Kimbell & Associates as Senior Director, Government Affairs from the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce, where she most recently served as Professional Staff Member on the Health Subcommittee. In this role, she worked on policy initiatives and matters involving the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Kristin was instrumental in crafting major public health legislation and reauthorization bills, including the Substance Use Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Reauthorization Act, the HALT Fentanyl Act, the Securing the U.S. Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network Act. She also contributed to the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Act (PAHPA) reauthorization efforts, the 2025 budget reconciliation process through the Working Families Tax Cut Act, as well as many appropriations bills.
Prior to her work on the Energy and Commerce Committee, Kristin served in the personal office of Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, leading her health care
and tax work. Earlier in her career, she held a government relations role in the private sector.
Kristin’s experience has allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of the current policy and political landscape, has built strong relationships on Capitol Hill, in
the Executive Branch, and across the aisle, making her well-positioned to advise clients on the constantly evolving environment.
Kristin received her B.A. from the Catholic University of America and lives in Maryland with her husband and daughter.
