Cooper Chamblee

Cooper Chamblee is an Associate of Government Affairs at Kimbell & Associates. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Clemson University. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Cooper served as the Fall Associate of Government Affairs and Operations in 2023 and the Summer Associate in 2024.
As an intern, Cooper supported the Government Affairs team through legislative research, Congressional hearing coverage, and general firm logistics. During the 2024 Congressional and Presidential election cycle, he led the firm’s coverage and research on the U.S. Senate and conducted in-depth analysis on the healthcare policy platforms of leading candidates, including former Vice President Kamala Harris and Vice President JD Vance.
Before joining Kimbell & Associates, Cooper was a Legislative Intern for the Office of Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), where he contributed to policy research and constituent services.
Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Cooper enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing lacrosse, and being outdoors.
