Brett Meeks
Brett Meeks is Vice President of Government Affairs for Health Technology and AI at Jeffrey J. Kimbell & Associates. He has spent the last two decades navigating and advising organizations on policy and law at the intersection of health care, data, and technology. Brett served in the United States Senate for over eight years, including as Deputy Health Policy Director on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions where he drafted and passed several laws including the health information technology provisions of the 21st Century Cures Act. Brett has run coalitions and worked with a wide variety of health care organizations including non-profits, large health systems, physician organizations, drug and device manufacturers, health technology vendors, health care investors, patient groups, and more. Brett is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, the National Defense University, and the University of Virginia. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and two daughters.
