House of Representatives

Energy and Commerce Committee
The House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold hearing entitled “Medicare Part D: Measures Needed to Strengthen Program Integrity.”

Health and Human Services Department (HHS); Food and Drug Administration (FDA) held a meeting on the reauthorization of the Medical Device User Fee Amendments (MDUFA) for FY2018 through FY2022. The current legislative authority for the medical device user fee program expires in September 2017 and new legislation will be required for FDA to continue collecting user fees for the medical device program.
